December 29, 1947 - March 8, 2024

Rachel was born in Orange County, California in 1947, the daughter of Ernesto and Gloria Peimbert; she was the eldest sibling of six. Rachel was the beloved wife of Sheldon for over 52 years. Unconditionally loving mother to her sons, Aaron and Todd, and a proud and devoted Queenie to her adored grandchildren, Todd Jr., and Hailey.

Rachel was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children. Always hands on, quick to become a team mom or take PTA posts to ensure they were provided the best experiences possible.  Rachel juggled being a mom with a successful 30-year career in Human Resources. Both at home and work, Rachels unwavering commitment to each shined bright each day.

Rachel was a loyal and selfless friend who was always there to lean on for support on a tough day and could not wait to see or hear from you again. Her many lifelong friends were especially important to Rachel, and she is grateful to all of you for the decades of friendship.  Let her roaring laugh always be with you as a reminder of her love for you all.

Rachel loved the Caribbean vacations she and Sheldon took, watching the Dodgers play, relaxing in the sun, music of all kinds, and of course, dancing.

Rachel has left us physically, but she will be in our hearts and minds for eternity. As much as we all miss her deeply, we take comfort in knowing that Rachel is no longer in pain or suffering. She is reunited with her dad, brother, and other loved ones and is at peace.
