Janet F Holthaus

In loving memory of Janet F. Holthaus born 4/30/39, passed peacefully on 12/26/22 at home in Vista, CA at the age of 83.

Loving wife to Roland Robert Holthaus and mother of 5 children.  She is survived by husband Roland (Bob), son Scott (Linda) Holthaus of Vista, daughter Shelly (David) Erickson of San Marcos, son Stuart (Mary) Holthaus of Oceanside, daughter Sheila (Dennis) Matteau of Lakewood, CA, and daughter Sandy (Tome) Newman of Hartwell, GA. She is also survived by brothers Mike (Alice) and Glenn (Nanette) in Minnesota.  Additionally, she is survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her dedication to family taught us the importance of family, truth, love and laughter. Many memories were created during family and friend celebrations and ‘friendly’ card games. She loved to play and win.  She was always giving and helping others, a true caregiver at heart. She was loved by all that knew her.

We miss her greatly but know she’s with family and friends in heaven and preparing a place for the rest of us. Love you Mom.
