Danny Garcia Perez Sr., 73, of Vista California, entered into his heavenly home on November 5, 2018. His love, devotion, and firm belief in God supported him in his struggles and ultimately gave him peace.
Danny was born to the late Antonio “Tony” Segunda Perez and Maria “Mary” Luisa Garcia Perez Martinez in Dodge City, Kansas on July 5, 1945. As a young boy, his parents separated, causing a challenge to his mother, brothers, and sisters. The Lord brought a man, whom the family would call “Grandpa Jose” into their lives. Grandpa Jose provided the need and support to Danny, and his brothers and sisters. Danny had many talents and careers over the course of his lifetime. One of those careers was being a Civil Servant for the United States Navy in Long Beach, China Lake, and North Island Naval Base, located in California. During the last year and a half, Danny continued to work towards his retirement with the goal of working for the San Diego Superior Court.
Danny is blessed with a loving family. As a young and passionate man, he married Kathleen Carole Darby. Together they have three children: Doreen Waardenburg, Danny Garcia Perez Jr., and Jose Thomas Perez. Danny then remarried to Tina Bojorquez. They had one daughter, Danna Rae Little Moon Perez.
Danny was a passionate man who whole heartily loved Jesus. Reflecting on his past experiences while riding a Greyhound Bus, Danny turned to Jesus and was "Born again". Thereafter, his life dramatically changed for the better and made a positive impact on his entire family. He changed! He was delivered! He became the son, father, brother, uncle, friend that he desired to be. He is dearly missed by all. His loved ones know and celebrate the fact that he is at peace and is with God himself in eternal paradise.
Danny is survived by his former wives, Carole and Tina; his sons, Danny Jr. and Jose; his daughters, Doreen and Danna Rae; his grandchildren, Amber and Clarissa; his four great-grandchildren; his brother, Tom; and his sisters, Rosie, Gloria, and Emma. He is preceded in death by his sister, Josie and his parents.
