Essie Daniel was born December 25th 1932 to Olivia and Johnny Ransom. She went to Booker T Washington. She was the second oldest of 7 ; Jc , Essie , James , Gloriace-Mae , Lonnie, Gloria ,and Noble.In 1947 the family moved to Forney Texas where she met Ed Daniel.They got married in 1951 from that union they had 6 kids. Essie and her husband moved their kids to Arizona then to California. In 1973 She moved to oceanside were she worked for Deutsch assembling airplane parts. In 1985 Essie and her husband became owners of their own coffee shop.
Essie lost her mom around the age of 3 years old. At a very young age she had to help raise her siblings. Which made her become very independent and reliable. At the age of 7 she accepted Christ into her life were she also sang in the choir. Later on in life she started working for a clothing factory in Los Angeles.
Essie was a fighter she fought as hard and long as she could. She introduced sure her children and grandchildren to Jesus. She was always there when you needed her.
Whether it was a prayer or someone to talk to. She had a genuine spirit with a heart of gold. The rock of her family and so much more. She meant a lot to everyone she met.
She touched so many lives.
Survived by her husband Ed Daniel her six kids : Evon Gladney ( Sam Gladney) , Eddie Daniel , Johnny Daniel , Charles Daniel , Darolene Washington ( Jarvis Washington), and Carlene Daniel. One sister Gloria Reed And one brother James Ransom. She had 12 grandkids 15 great- grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews.
