Harry Moore III Obituary

Harry E. Moore, III, 47, passed away on July 18 in St. Louis, MO.

Harry was born in Kansas City, MO to Harry E. Moore, Jr. and Marjorie (McGrath) Moore on November 29, 1970. He attended Londonderry High School and then went on to graduate from Penn State University in 1993 with a degree in hospitality management. After graduation, he worked hard in a series of restaurants and no stranger to long hours in getting work done right.   He was daring from an early age, exploring and building magnificent forts, and appeared fearless taking on what often seemed like an impossible task.  He persevered through struggles and despite living a hard life, he found love with Leona for a couple years before her passing. He was loyal to friends and sought ways to work or help out even when injured.  He always loved animals, and especially his dogs, which he cherished throughout his life.

Besides his wife, Harry is preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Moore, Jr.  He is survived by his mother, Marjorie and his sister, Jacqueline Wyrwitzke and daughter Maxine; his sister, Teresa McCarthy (Mike) and their two children Molly and John; and his brother, Thomas Moore (Heather) and daughter, Hialeah.

Burial services will be held at 1:30 on Monday, August 13th at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, CA.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, memorials may be given in his name to St. Patrick Center, St. Louis, MO (http://stpatrickcenter.org/).
