James Gallen passed away, March 18, 2012. He was born at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jim served four years in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He started his degree at Riverside Community College and earned his Bachelor of Science degree at San Bernardino State University. He met his wife Kathie, in 1988 and they married on February 11, 1989. They resided in Rancho Cucamonga, California, before moving to Vista, Calif., in 1999. He had a long career in sales, marketing and customer service, working most recently at Machine Vision Products in Carlsbad, Calif., since 2007.
Jim was a loving son, husband, brother, encouraging step-father and the greatest "Pop Pop." He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph ( Joe) Gallen. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Kathie; his mother, Mary Gallen of Moreno Valley, Calif.; his sister, Mary Bow ( Joe) of Riverside, Calif.; his brother, Joe Gallen (Milana) of Sparks, Nev.; two nieces and two nephews; step-children, Tracy Leusch Austin (Troy) and children, Skye and Avery, and Ryan Leusch of Menifee, Calif., and daughter, Haleigh. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012.
