James Thomas Kiley was born in Pierre, S. Dakota on April 19, 1935 and passed away on June 8, 2018 surrounded by his children. He joined the Marines in 1954 stationed at Camp Pendleton. He settled in San Marcos, Ca. and at the age of 23 he managed his first gas station, a Chevron station on Mission Road. This is where he started Kiley's Towing in 1959 which was part of the community for just under 60 years. He was proud to be contracted with the Sheriffs Department through most of his towing years.
