John Patrick "Pat" Keenan

John Patrick Keenan, better known as Pat to family and friends, was born in Washington, D.C. to Hubert and Catherine (Sioussa) Keenan.  After graduating from high school, he joined the Navy in 1953 and served as a Petty Officer.  Following his discharge, he was a plumber for Local Union 342 for 40 years and retired in 1993.

Pat enjoyed sailing and belonged to Island Yacht Club of Alameda, CA, Vallejo Yacht Club in Vallejo, CA., and Silvergate Yacht Club on Shelter Island.  Pat and Patricia spent the last 22 years in Vista, CA, which gave them close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, where Pat was able to sail as often as he could.

Pat is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Gayle (Harden) Keenan, sons David of Whitefield ME., Michael of Sacramento, CA., and daughter Theresa of Sacramento, CA and three grandchildren, Dominique, Mora, and Michael.
