Nicolas Garcia Palafox

Nicolas Garcia Palafox "Nico" passed away on May 28, 2019.  He was 42.  Nico had worked for several years at St. Francis Catholic Church School as a maintenance technician.  He had lived in San Diego County for over 30 years mostly in the Vista area.  He was well loved in his neighborhood and will be missed by all.

Nico is survived by his wife, Maria of Vista; daughter, Alexis Nicole Garcia of Vista; daughter and son-in-law, Merisa Marie and Beto Marta of San Marcos; daughter, Jennifer Rose Marie Castaneda of Pomona; son, Phillip Pete Castaneda of Vista; brothers, Mario Garcia Palafox of Mexico, Crispin Garcia Palafox of San Marcos, Abraham Garcia Palafox of Mexico, Portfilo Garcia Palafox of San Marcos, Moises Garcia Palafox of Mexico; sisters, Irma Garcia Palafox of San Juan Capistrano and Lydia Garcia Palafox of San Marcos; half-sisters, Elena, Teresa, and Maria Palafox, all of Mexico; grandchildren, Mateo, Annalise, and Uriah Marta.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Portfilo and Sofia and his half-brother, Francisco Palafox.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at San Marcos Cemetery.
