Renato Coloma Uclaray, resident of Escondido, formerly of Lathrop, passed away on December 6, 2018 at North Twin Oaks Road at the age of 61 years.
Renato was born in the Philippines on October 20, 1957 from his late father, Fabian, and late mother, Cecilia. At the age of 12, his Family moved to California where he was raised. He attended East Union High School and began his career as an Engineering Technician. He enjoyed cooking and gardening, but his main passion was fishing. He would go any time he had the chance; especially, if it was with his brothers: Roger, Romulo, and Rolando.
Renato had a very easy-going demeanor. He was very kind and caring. He was optimistic and loved getting together with his family and friends. You could always see him smiling and hear his laughter. He was the family's handyman and often had a solution for any situation.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Catherine, his children, Christopher and wife Michelle, Nicholas, and Venessa and husband Jordan, his step-children Derrik, Rhandel, and Ashley, his grandchildren James, Jordan, and Victoria, his siblings Roger and wife Teresita, Romulo and wife Arleen, Remedios and husband Frankie, and Rolando, 7 nieces and nephews, and his loving dog CJ.
