Ruby C. Giuliano

     Mrs. Ruby Christina Giuliano, daughter of the late Alipate Sanft and Fa’alupenga Vika Makihele was born May 12, 1937 in Haalaufuli (Vava’u) Tonga. She attended school in Tonga and graduated from Liahona High School. As a young woman, she came to the United States to attend college and completed two years at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. Ruby moved to California in the early 60’s to live with one of her brothers, Atolofi “Eddie” Sanft. There she met the love of her life and was united in holy matrimony to Karl Heinz Giuliano, November 7th, 1964. This union was blessed with two beautiful girls. In 1978, Ruby and Karl moved to San Marcos, California and remained in the area for the last 35 years.

     While in San Marcos, Ruby and Karl have met many beloved people and developed strong friendships. Ruby’s generous spirit and pleasant personality touched everyone and she was loved by many. Her life was full of family and friends that she loved so deeply, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

     Ruby quietly departed this life Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, California. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Karl Giuliano, daughters Katherine Cruz and Briggitte Wright and grandchildren, Alexandra Wright (25), Jacob Freed (25), Jordan Wright (24) and Mikayla Freed (23). Her beautiful life will forever be cherished and remembered by her devoted family, relatives and friends.
