Austin Greene Yale

Austin Greene Yale passed away Saturday, May 18th 2019 with his son Flint by his side.

Austin was born October 5th 1934 the son Fred and Helen (Greene) Yale in Mohall North Dakota. He attended school in Mohall, North Dakota. In 1952 he joined the Navy with his brother Tom Yale and served 4 years. He married Marlys Mae Armstrong in 1960. They moved to Hammond IN where he was an iron worker , he retired after 42 years. He helped build 5 skyscraper in downtown Chicago (Sears Tower and Standard Oil building).

He is survived by his children, Flint Yale (Bandit and Bonita) Litchfield AZ, Kathryn Yale-Ertz (Garrett, Trevor, Cheyenne and Martina) San Marcos CA Theresa Van Luik (Katie) Surprise AZ, and Clinton And Paula Yale (Jessica and Julia) Kankakee IL. 4 Great Grandchildren Madelyn, Mason, Maverick and Makena. Siblings Phil (Marilyn) Yale Manvel ND, Colene Yale Blonigan Battle Lake MN, Marj (Bob) Stocker Grand Forks, Mary Shabel Seattle WA

He is preceded in death by daughter Angela Fay Campbell, brother Tom Yale and parents Fred and Helen Yale.

 Service will be held at Miramar National Cemetery 5795 Nobel Drive SAN Diego CA 92122 June 17th, 2019 at 9am.
