Blanche Ethel Spurlock
Obituary
Blanche E. Spurlock gently passed away July 24, 2022. She was born February 20, 1922 in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Spurlock,
and her son, Richard Kent Spurlock. She is survived by her daughter Janis Allen, her niece Joyce Hines, and her nephew Frank Raybern.
She lived in many locations including Mexico, Arizona, Arkansas, North Carolina and California. Throughout these years she was the consummate ranch/farm wife, canning food, raising
children, entertaining business contacts and often having to help corral a loose cow. Her last 40 years were spent in North San Diego County, California where she passed. During
these years, she became an avid master level duplicate bridge player and taught many of her friends to play. In October, 2021, Blanche moved to Silvergate San Marcos and became a part of a community that she enjoyed. She will be buried next to her husband at Eternal Hills in Oceanside.
