In Loving Memory of Brian Quinn
April 17, 1954 – May 21, 2025
With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Quinn on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was surrounded by the love and presence of his family.
Born April 17, 1954, to Thomas and Dorothy Quinn, Brian was raised in a large, close-knit Irish Catholic family. He was the fourth of seven children and expressed deep appreciation for the gift of growing up in a big family - one filled with laughter, chaos, support, and love. His siblings remained some of his closest friends throughout his life, and the values he learned from that foundation shaped the man he became.
Brian was a loving father and grandfather, a cherished friend, and a man who made others feel like they mattered. He is survived by his beloved children: sons Shane (Kelly) and Wade (Marisa), and daughter Taylor (Mitch). His legacy continues through his treasured grandchildren, affectionately known as his "Magnificent Seven": Conrad, Nolan, Mason, Reagan, Collin, Brax, and Westlyn.
Brian’s greatest joy was his family. Whether he was coaching his kids’ sports teams or cheering from the sidelines as his grandchildren played, he was their biggest supporter and proudest fan. His passion for sports was not all about the games, it was about the time shared, the lessons learned, and the bonds strengthened through athletics.
Professionally, Brian was the proud owner of a successful landscaping business for many of his working years. He often said he "painted the earth," and to him, every job was a canvas. He approached his work with creativity and passion, transforming spaces with such care and detail that he often joked he was making places "look like Disney World."
He cherished gatherings with family and friends, where stories and beer flowed, and laughter echoed late into the night. Known for his sense of humor and storytelling, Brian could light up any room with a joke, a memory, or a classic rock lyric. He truly had a song for every moment.
A Celebration of Life will be held in New Jersey in late September to honor Brian. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you spend time with your loved ones. That’s what he would have wanted.
Rest in peace, Dad. Our memories and your spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
