Cecile Marie Sawyer

Cecile was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and had three sisters Terry, Marie and Claire.  She is survived by her sister Marie.  She graduated from Oceanside High School in 1987.  Cecile loved to knit and sew.  Her children were her life.  She enjoyed watching high school sports and any activities involving her kids.  Devoted to her faith, she was involved in the SHARE program at St Francis Church of Vista and an example to all parishioners.  Her husband Albert was a career Navy man and this meant moving frequently.  Cecile was a great manager of the family keeping seven kids in line and maintaining the home front on all levels, especially during deployments and times of conflict.  Strong and confident in her faith, her family and herself, she endured the Great Depression, World War II, Korean and Vietnam eras and a World Wide Pandemic.  She is survived by her husband Albert L. Sawyer, her children Ann Marie, Cecilia, Elaine, Albert, Paul, Tom and Agnes.
