Connie Segura Obituary

San Marcos, Connie Delia Segura, 96, was born October 12, 1924, she passed away at home per her wishes on October 23, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. 
She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and attended schools there. 
In 1940, she married Paul E. Segura and had three children. She was a homemaker and businesswoman, and when her husband joined the Army in 1944 to serve in the European Theatre, she was left to take care of their three children at the young age of 20. During this time, she secured and purchased a home in Lawndale Calif with the proceeds her husband sent her from overseas. When her husband returned to the family, they started their own business in the plumbing industry. 
With their successful business, Connie and her Husband were able to build their dream retirement home in 1974 in San Marcos. She was a lifetime learner and had many hobbies. She loved to travel, read, cook, golf, and was an active member in an investment club. 
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 68 years Paul Segura, her parents Trinidad and Joseph Montreal, one brother, four sisters and two half-brothers She is survived by three Children Conni Segura of Las Vegas, Paul Segura of Bellflower and Anne (Gary) Sailors of Agoura Hill; 11 grandchildren, Jeff Taylor, Kimberly Bayne, Fran Davis, John Segura, Vince Eppstine, Gary Sailors, Jr, Michael Segura, Ann Berg, Tiffany Segura, Deana Chavez and Amy Rex; 25 great grandchildren; 27 Great-great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews 
Private family services will be at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery in Oceanside where she will join her husband in eternal rest. 
Allen Brothers Mortuary San Marcos is handling the arrangements.
