Obituary

After a remarkable life of 100 years, Daisy McKennett passed away peacefully at home on Friday morning February 17, 2023.  Born in Berlin, Germany on August 13, 1922, Daisy began a life notable for its resilience, adventure and love of family.  She was a devoted mother to her two children, Marianne (Bart Sefton) and David (Katherine Spetner). Daisy was a proud and involved grandmother to Jenny McKennett (Sam Hale), Eric Sefton, and Peter Sefton (Sarah Blahnik), always there for birthdays, sports events, graduations, and weddings. To her surprise and joy, Daisy became a great grandmother to two adorable granddaughters, Madeline Marie Sefton and Alexandra Daisy Sefton.

Daisy traveled the world on many cruises with her long-time partner, Bob Davey.  She was an active member of the Lake San Marcos community for the past 30 years, involved in the Bridge Club, Water Aerobics, and the Christian Women's Club. Daisy was such a strong, resilient woman who valued family above all else. It is hard to imagine the void she will leave in our world.
