Dennis William Frazier 1942-2024
Dennis William Frazier, age 82, of Vista, California passed away on 30 November 2024.
Dennis was born in San Francisco on 13 April 1942 to Margaret Chorovski and Glenn Frazier.
Dennis graduated from Galileo High School in 1960. He went on to enlist in the U.S. Air Force in 1962 where he spent 4 years working as an Airman Police Officer, then spent 16 years working as a Flight Simulator Technician. Tours of duty included Clark AFB Philippines 1962-1965, Kadena AFB Okinawa Japan 1971-1974, and RAF Lakenheath England 1977-1980. Post military, Dennis finished out his Flight Simulator career working at George AFB and NAS Miramar.
Dennis was an avid WW2 history enthusiast, train buff and crazy for all things aviation related. He loved to travel and many of his travels centered around WW2 history. Dennis loved San Diego, was a loyal San Diego Padres baseball fan, and a volunteer on the San Diego Vintage Trolley project to help restore vintage trolley cars in the city of San Diego.
Dennis is survived by his children Denny Vince Frazier and Michelle Margaret (Ken) Miller; grandchildren Kyle Frazier, Adrian Frazier, Mikayla (Matthew) Heldt, Jake Miller, great granddaughter Sarah Heldt, and sister Shirley (Leonard) Lang. Dennis is also survived by his former wife, Emercita McClintick.
