Dolores Landowski passed on July 11, 2020 at the age of 86, in Escondido, CA.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Anderson of San Marcos, CA and sister-in-law, Judy Crawford of Monrovia, CA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dolores was predeceased by both parents, Howard H. Crawford and Ruby E. (Olson) Crawford, her brother Marlowe A. Crawford, her husband, Richard H. Landowski and her son, Bradley Landowski.

She was born July 30, 1933 in Grafton, North Dakota.

Dolores's family packed up their car and drove from North Dakota to California to start a new life in 1950. Dolores was a senior in High School at the time and after graduation in 1951, she got on a bus and went back to North Dakota where she met her husband Richard. They soon returned to California and settled in Riverside, where their son Bradley was born.

Dolores was a homemaker and a long-standing parishioner of St. Catherine’s of Alexandria.  She was active in a club called St. Jude's Wire Benders, a rosary-making group that supplies rosaries to missions, CCD classes, and other outlets. Through this club, she made some very close friendships. She loved to go with her friends and family members on outings and road trips. She was always up for an adventure! She loved to bowl, was on a bowling league for many years and even earned a trophy or two! She was also very charitable and consistently gave to many charities that helped people in need.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial gathering will not be held at this time.  However, in celebration of Dolores’s life, we kindly encourage you to share a thought or memory online for everyone to enjoy.
