E. David Wininger

Our beloved father E. David Wininger passed away on 10/20/2025 at the age of 86.  He is survived by his daughters, Katherine Wininger Benhaim and Elizabeth Wininger Santos, four wonderful grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was born in Long Beach, CA, on 7/29/39. His favorite hobbies were singing, golfing, and attending sporting events. David and Margaret first met in high school, where they shared a love of travel and bonded over music, laughter, and family. They continued to share this joy throughout their long and happy marriage of 58 years.

He leaves behind his children, Katherine Wininger Benhaim and Elizabeth Wininger Benhaim.  He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Bill and Roy Wininger, and his parents, Mary and Earl Wininger.  

The funeral will be held in Vista Allen Brothers, 1315 South Santa Fe Avenue, Vista, CA 94526, at noon, and a reception will be held at Havens Country Club, 29354 Vista Valley Drive, directly after.  All friends and family are welcome.
