Elaine Elias ("Cousin Oh"), of Escondido, California, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2020. She was born on July 9, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Philp and Phyllis Manzi. On August 23, 1970 she married George Isa Elias. She earned her bachelor's degree in administration from St. John's University, and went on to have a successful career in education. She was the department coordinator for San Diego State University's College of Teacher Education for 28 years, retiring in 2005. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, traveling, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Elaine was known as spunky, private, and prideful. She was a woman of great character and strength, and will be missed. She is survived by her son, George Elias of Murrieta, California, and his children with Lori Elias: her granddaughters Karli Dumovich of Whitesboro, Texas, and Mackenzi Elias of Los Angeles, California, and grandson Kaden Elias of Temecula, California. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Charlee Rae Dumovich, of Whitesboro, Texas.
