Elaine Scalf, a cherished mom and beloved grandmother, peacefully passed away on November
3, 2023 at the age of 81. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and enduring memories that
will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born on May 2, 1942, Elaine lived a life rich in experiences and marked by an unwavering
commitment to family. She was a beacon of kindness and generosity, always ready with a warm
smile and an open heart. Her love knew no bounds, extending to her children, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and to God. She was married for 51 years and leaves behind her husband,
Tom, two daughters, son-in-law, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A true matriarch, Elaine was the heart of her family, providing unwavering support, wisdom, and
a sense of stability. Her home was a gathering place for celebrations, holidays, and everyday
moments of joy. Her kitchen was a source of comfort, filled with the delicious aromas of the
family recipes that will forever be etched in the memories of those lucky enough to have enjoyed
them.
In addition to her role as a devoted family member, Elaine was known for her passion for art and
gardening. Whether it was tending to her garden, pursuing artistic endeavors, she approached life
with enthusiasm and a deep sense of purpose and fun.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, let us also celebrate the legacy she leaves
behind. Elaine will be remembered for her unwavering love, her silly and fun sense of humor,
and the countless acts of generosity and care she showered upon her family.
She may be gone but her beautiful life has left a positive ripple throughout the many lives she
touched. Ours for a lifetime, His for eternity.
