Geraldine Luvenia Mills

 Geraldine Luvenia Mills of Vista California passed away in San Marcos on April 12, 2024. She was 93 years old. Born in Enid, Oklahoma, on November 7, 1930, to Gerald Loutzenhiser and Lorena (Fuller) Loutzenhiser. Her family moved to California when she was in grade school.

After graduation from Marshall High School in Los Angeles, Geraldine married Kenneth Patrick Mills in 1952. Geraldine and Ken had one child, Lorena Charlotte Mills and raised their family in Vista, California where they lived in the same house from 1962 until she moved to an assisted living facility. Geraldine worked as an X-Ray technician and medical assistant for 28 years. She was a faithful member of the Mission 316 Church in San Marcos.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her mother, Lorena Loutzenhiser, her daughter, Lorena Mills, her father Gerald Loutzenhiser and her husband , Kenneth Mills. She will be greatly missed by her church family, particularly her special friends Chris, Terry and Laura who helped her for nearly 20 years after Ken's passing, along with many others. She was able to stay in her home for several more years before moving to an assisted living facility because of their friendship , love and dedication to her.

Geraldine will be intered in the Garden of the Last Supper at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Oceanside, California.
