Gwendolyn Louise Rasmussen

   Gwendolyn Louise [Linzey] Rasmussen passed away in her home surrounded by family on June 30, 2025.

   On October 7, 1950, Gwen was born to Betty DeGoche and Garnet Linzey, joining a family with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Born and raised in San Diego, California, she attended Sweetwater High School before pursuing her Associate’s at Southwestern Community College. 

    While attending Skyline Church, she met Arthur (Arte) Rasmussen, who she then married 6 months later. They eventually grew their family with two children, Dameon and Amber, who blessed her with many grandchildren: Aaron, Elaysia, Mason, Ethan, and Emma.
    An amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, she lived her life always wanting the best for everyone, wanting them to live their lives as happily as possible.
