Harry Cleston Chadwell
2/12/1928 – 8/22/2022
Harry Cleston Chadwell was born in a log cabin at Hoop Creek, Tennessee, on February 12, 1928, to Lucy Golden Chadwell and Riley Morgan Chadwell. Harry had two brothers, Robert Sherrill Chadwell and Riley Morgan Chadwell, Jr., and two sisters, Mildred Joy Chadwell and Mary Cornelia Chadwell.
Harry had a distinguished career in the United States Navy from 1947-1967. He retired with the rank of Chief Petty Officer, DTC. Harry was a Dental Technician Chief
In 1948, Harry married Ruth Marie Hendrix, and they had three daughters, Carol Marie, Constance Jean, and Carletta Elaine, one granddaughter, Carly Moulton, and two great grandsons, Crosby and Parker.
Following his Naval career, Harry was the owner of Carlsbad Dental Lab, in Carlsbad, CA. from 1967-1995
In 1992, Harry married Julia Elizabeth Mollenauer, and he became stepfather to 8 children, Allan Edward Snavely, Roberta Korff, Cynthia Riley, Julia LaPlante, Rebecca Saelao, Robert L. Snavely, Matthew Snavely, David Snavely.
Harry was a member of Meadowlark Church in San Marcos, CA. for many years, and he resided in San Marcos from 1995-2022.
Harry is much loved and sorely missed. Rest in Peace Dear Chief Chadwell.
