Hortencia Cornejo Plaza Soto was survived by her husband Antonio and her five children; Fernando, Beatriz, Erandy, Tony, and Migue, as well as her seven grandchildren; Ismael, Xochitl, Valentina, Zoraya, Destynie, Sophia, and Oscarito.
Hortencia was born on May 6, 1954 in Villa Jimenez, Michoacan, Mexico. She moved to San Marcos,California with her family in 1992. In addition to being an amazing mother, she was a faithful woman and a pillar in the community. She had a quick wit and a kind heart. She welcomed anyone into her home and always showed support to those in need.
Those who remember her, remember the way she made them laugh, and the delicious, authentic Mexican food that she would prepare.
Hortencia is gone, but never forgotten.
