Isabelle Jovita Paulsen

Isabelle was born in Los Angeles, Sept. 13, 1948 and raised in El Monte, CA. She and husband Richard married in San Marino51 years ago and welcomed daughter Estay in 1979. She worked for the city of Pasadena among others and moved to Vista in 1990. She worked for the city of Carlsbad over 20 years both in the City Clerks office and later in the Cultural Arts Office. Isabelle loved making new friends and after retirement often joined them at the Oceanside Senior Center where crocheting, needle point crafts and luncheons were shared and enjoyed. A funeral mass will be held 11:00am, Friday, Oct. 4 at St. Margarets Catholic Church, 4300 Oceanside Blvd. Oceanside, CA 92056. A lunch at Oceanside Broiler, Harbor Drive ramp from I-5N, will follow. Commitment Service will be on Oct 7, 11:15 am at Miramar National Cemetery.
