Jack E. Dausman, 92, passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2020. He was the widower of Jan Dausman. They shared 65 years of marriage. He was born in Elkhart, Indiana. Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Business Administration. He retired from the United States Marine Corps after 31 years of service as a decorated colonel. Jack received the Legion of Merit twice. He further worked as a savings branch manager until his full retirement. Jack attended the New Community Church of Vista, serving as a moderator. He was a member of the Boys and Girls Club of Vista. Jack served 36 years in the Rotary Club of Vista. He will be remembered for his quick wit, true grit, and generous heart. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The public memorial service will be hosted by the New Community Church of Vista. The service will be held on January 16th, 2020 at 4:00 pm (PST) in an online format. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Mexico Medical Missions, Nyumbani.org, or the Salvation Army.
