Jennifer Froehlich Obituary

Jennifer Alexis Froehlich (Lexie) of San Marcos, California, died June 18, 2026, at the age of 51. Lexie was born in Sacramento, California, and attended Saint Mary’s Middle School and Saint Francis High School. She was active in sports, competitive swimming, dance, and piano where she received the 5 -year Certificate of Merit from the Music Teacher’s Association of California.  She later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology at Cal State Long Beach. She worked her way through college by playing the piano for services at a gospel church on Sundays, lifeguarding, and waitressing and was a lead cocktail waitress/server at the infamous Cowboy Boogie (The Boogie) Anaheim. Lexie went on to follow a diverse career path including Deputy Probation Counselor Santa Ana, Group Home Counselor Costa Mesa, Social Worker for Riverside County Child Protective Services, and Behavioral Technician for Centria Autism
San Diego. In Addition, she was Senior Retail Loan Officer for Accredited Home Lenders San Diego. As one of their top producers, she was awarded President’s Club 3 years in a row. But her greatest passion and career accomplishment was creating her own business as a mobile private swim instructor/swim coach servicing North County San Diego, Miss Lexie’s Swim School Escondido.

She taught water safety from infants to adults. She also accepted children with disabilities and special needs such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome and autism. Her kind nature was reflected by her empathy, compassion and patience toward all her students. Lexie was a loving mother and was dedicated to giving them the best. She was adamant about sending them to a Christian school and making sure they were active in sports especially competitive swimming. She wanted them to experience camping out and hiking in nature and cashed in part of her retirement to purchase a trailer to make it happen. She planned to create a tradition of camping at Mount Palomar once a year. She loved spoiling them on their birthdays with a big celebration with family and friends. Lexie was born fun-loving. She once loved listening to music, dancing, laughing, cooking, and caring for the people she loved. She was a talented and versatile soul. Her sweet face, beautiful heart, and strong spirit will be missed. She was preceded in death by her father Stanton Froehlich, and she is survived by her mother Rita O’Brien, her sister Rebecca Froehlich, her children, Savannah Galindo, Cameron Galindo, Adalyn Galindo, and her Siamese cat ‘Baby’. Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 02:00 pm in Dripping Springs, Texas.
