Joan M Bermeitinger

    Joan M. Bermeitinger BSN passed away on October 10, 2023, in San Marcos California. She was born on December 27, 1925, in Buffalo New York to H. Edward Smith and Matilda Helene Smith (Trankle). Joan  offered her heart to many, she was a dedicated professional nurse to her patients, and a care giver to many family members throughout her life. Joan was an avid golfer, appreciated the Arts, and was known to travel the world with her sister Ruth.  She loved people and had an amazing zest for life. She is survived by her sister Ruth H Smith, a retired U.S Navy Commander and many nieces and nephews, Dennis Smith M.D, Patricia Smith R.N, M.S, C.S, David Smith M.D, Mary Ann Smith PHD, Carole Snyder, and many great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family request you make donations to the Sacred heart Academy in Buffalo N.Y and Cznisius College in Buffalo N.Y.
