Escondido, CA. – Kenneth D. Palcic, 90, died Monday, August 3, 2020. Born January 18, 1930, in Denver, he lived in Escondido for the past fifty-nine years. He has been retired for the last twenty-four years. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years and retired as a chief petty officer. His service included both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. Mr. Palcic was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ruby B. Palcic of Escondido, CA, his oldest son Richard W. Palcic of Slidell, LA and two grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Ronald A. Palcic of Olathe, KS; Katherine S. (Palcic) Hewitt of Klamath Falls, OR; Cynthia A. (Palcic) Kitteringham of Escondido, CA; Robert Palcic of Valley Center, CA; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. A private Funeral service, with military honors, is at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido.
