Magdalena Chavez

   Our beloved, Magdalena Chavez, passed into the Lord’s arms on Sunday, October 22, 2023. 
   Ours for a lifetime, now His for Eternity. 

   Magdalena was born May 25, 1970, in Mexico to Ezequiel Fidel Reyes Rojas & Teresa Herreras Martinez. She married Alvaro Chavez in 1989. They had been married for (34) years when Magdalena passed away. Their love gave them three children who she loved and devoted her whole life to and then to her grandchildren. 

   Her faith was the center of her life and she often encouraged others with God's love. She was a woman who loved the Lord and a prayer warrior. 
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She filled our home with food and laughter. She had a passion for cooking. Cooking a meal and bringing her whole family together to enjoy it. She enjoyed going on long drives to the mountains and enjoyed nature. Her favorite hobby was gardening. Magdalena will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived a full life and was the happiest when surrounded by family and her fur baby Campanita. She loved her family and stayed strong for them until her very last breath. Grateful for having shared this life on earth are her husband, Alvaro. Her three children; daughter Raquel, son-in-law Armando Marroquin. Her son Ezequiel, daughter-in-law Evelyn, grandsons Ezrah and Hezekiah; Son Jonathan daughter-in-law Ayded. Sister Lourdes, brothers Federico, and Luis Reyes Martinez, niece Marta Teresa Reyes Martinez. 

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Teresa Herreras Martinez.
