Mary Sowder Obituary
Surrounded by loved ones, Mary Willie Grisso- Sowder, 85, peacefully joined the heavenly company of God and her husband, Dempsey, on the morning of March 10, 2012 in Vista, Calif. It was "just another day in paradise" and the birds were heard sweetly chirping outside her window. Aunt Willie is survived by her nephew, George Manges and his wife, Sharon; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews; and many loving friends and extended family.
We will always love and remember our "sweetie" with the perpetual southern drawl, originating from Virginia. Her hospitality toward all was as charming and comforting as her kind words, fun-loving spirit, and practical nature in all things botanical and culinary.
