NANCY TERESA (RAIMONDI) FERRER
July 24, 1930 ~ July 4, 2022

Nancy Teresa (Raimondi) Ferrer passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus, at her home on July 4, 2022, just shy of her 92nd birthday.  She was born on July 24, 1930, in Orange, NJ to Elvira "Vera" Caronia (a seamstress) and Thomas Raimondi (a hatmaker). She married her handsome sweetheart, Air Force Corporal John Joseph Ferrer on June 27, 1953, and in 1962 they moved to sunny California. In her younger years, Nancy was a top-notch insurance investigator for The Prudential company and a champion at playing jacks. She loved to teach children, mentor, and share the love of Jesus to the world (Mark 16-15-16). Her homemade Italian lasagna and biscotti cookies made everyone salivate for more! She loved to play scrabble, quilt, crochet, and garden. You could catch her dancing to the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Bublé and other catchy tunes—and what a cute dancer she was!

Nancy was the proud and loving mother of five children and a grandmother to eight grandchildren. She treasured every moment in her role as “Sweet Momma”, "GMa", and "GGMa" Nancy is survived by her children, John Jr., Gregg, Christopher, her twins Nancy & Tommy, her grandchildren, Seth, Dana & Brittany, Christina & Frank, Evan, Joey & Marina, and her great-grandchildren Nicholas & Valerie, Bear & Robin, and Trinity.

A Celebration of Life was held on July 24, 2022, at The River Garden in Vista, CA on what would have been Nancy's 92nd birthday. On Monday, July 25, she was reunited with her late husband, and together they were interned at San Marcos Cemetery, San Marcos, CA.
