Patricia Adams also known as “Trish” or “Tricia” was born in Chicago, IL on July 6, 1940 to Kenneth and Ruth Adams. She grew up in Fenton, MO and attended Community School and graduated high school from John Burroughs School, in a suburb of St. Louis in 1957. She then went on to attend Colorado College located in Colorado Springs where she earned her degree in Political Science in 1962. Shortly thereafter she started work at United Airlines as a flight attendant and was based in Chicago, IL. She married a United pilot, Alan Black, in 1968 and welcomed their daughter, Vanessa, into their lives in 1972. Trish had a rich life spent as a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed the rural culture of living in Vermont and restoring a 200 year-old home in Orwell. She had many hobbies and interests including her love of dogs, horseback riding, traveling, photography, cooking, and gardening. She lived in many places including Vermont, New Jersey, Washington, Arkansas, New Mexico and lastly to California to spend her last 12 years with her daughter and family. Trish is survived by her beloved daughter, Vanessa, son-in-law Jason, and her two granddaughters, Madison (20) and Ava (17).
She was loved by family and friends and will be dearly missed.
