Paul A. Bellinger, Jr. passed on to his heavenly home January 24, 2024 at the age of 96. He is survived by his three children, Paul, III, Diane, Gary, grandson, Kevin, (Melissa), great grandchildren, Nolan, Everly, and sister, Marilyn Hayes.
He was raised in Syracuse, NY and graduated Solvay High School in 1945 and later attended Syracuse University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Paul served in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in both the WWII and the Korean War. Later, Paul dedicated his career to working in transportation. He married his bride, Mary, in 1950 and enjoyed 71 years together. He was an avid Syracuse Orangeman fan, loved to explore the USA, enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, cards, church, Jeopardy and family get-togethers. His favorite “hobby” was finance, and he watched the market and read the WSJ daily. He converted to Catholicism in 2022 after attending the Catholic Church for 70 years. Paul was well known for his kindness, integrity, intelligence and most of all, his quick-wit and sense of humor. Everyone had a good laugh and enjoyed his company.
