Obituary
Robert G. Meyerholz (Bob) 82 of Vista, California passed away on August 18, 2023. Bob was born in Sterling, Colorado on June 28, 1941 to Lydia (Luft) and Glen Meyerholz. Bob graduated from Crook High School where he won numerous state championships and lettered in track. Bob worked at Holloway's Inc. in Sterling as a mechanic. Bob moved to California in 1964 and served 6 years in the Army National Guard. Bob married Barbara Gilbert in 1966 and had two sons, Daniel and Edward. Bob worked at Weseloh Chevrolet and was considered a great mechanic. He then went to work for Moor Co. heating and air conditioning where he worked for 50 years until he was forced to retire due to the covid pandemic. Bob loved to go to the desert and attend plays at the Moonlight Amphitheater. Bob was very generous and would offer his time to help anyone fix a problem. Bob is survived by his sister Gloria Pruitt of Vista, Ca. Son Daniel and daughter-in-law Tina Meyerholz, granddaughters Nicole Muir and her husband Shawn Muir of Granbury Tx. Ashley Stokes and her husband Luke Stokes of Oceanside, Ca. Son Edward and his partner John Alexander of San Diego, Ca. Great grandsons Caleb and Brayden Muir. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Lydia Meyerholz and sister Linda Morrison.
