It is with immense sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Rachel, at the age of 26. She left a profound impact on all who knew her.
She is survived by her parents Skip and Kathy, brothers Jack (Emily), David, and Andrew (Megan), nephew Marley, grandmother Connie, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
As a young girl, Rachel enjoyed dancing, singing, theater, baseball, soccer, and basketball. Later, she poured her creativity into music, photography, writing, and drawing. Rachel was known for her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support for her family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
Rachel was a vibrant spirit, full of dreams, love of others, and passion. She was pursuing a career in crisis care where her empathy, dedication, and compassion naturally enabled her to thrive. She received the Responder of the Year award twice. Rachel’s professional peers described her as knowledgeable, empowering, and someone who consistently brought grace to difficult situations. She quickly connected with others and provided individualized care to each person she encountered.
Over the past year, Rachel volunteered in the planning of the 2025 International Women’s Conference. The IWC is the bridge to a better understanding of the AA philosophy and way of life because of the special needs in sobriety as women.
A celebration of life will be held and livestreamed on December 2nd at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church located at 1450 S Melrose Dr, Oceanside, CA 92056. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass. We invite all those who wish to continue celebrating her memory to join us. Please RSVP at rachelwilson.rsvpify.com
A private interment of her ashes will take place at Rachel's Ranch near Virginia City, Nevada.
Rest in peace, dear Rachel. You will always be in our hearts, and we will love and miss you forever.
