Walter Ellis Evans 3rd, 68 yrs old, passed away on December 4th, 2024, at 4:52 PM.
Walter was born on June 17, 1956, in Chester. PA outside Philadelphia to Anne Podolak Evans and Walter Ellis Evans Jr. He is survived by the love of his wife Debra, and his three children Ellis, Ryan, and Brianne.
He was married to the love of his life Debra Maxam Evans. They raised their three children Ellis, Ryan and Brianne in Oceanside California after moving there in 1987. Walt retired as a designated Senior Member of the International Right-of-Way Association after a career as a Right-of-Way Project Manager for Epic Land Solutions and CalTrans. He was a Naval veteran flying P-3 and H-3 aircraft as a specialist in the Anti-submarine Warfare community. While serving with two carrier battle groups, USS Independence, and USS Coral Sea he took part in the Libyan conflict receiving Battle "E" (2). Sea Service (2), Naval Achievement, Good Conduct, and many Letters of Accommodation Appreciation from his fleet commanders. After attending Saint James Catholic High School for Boys in Chester. He was recruited and played Division I college football at the University of Dayton in Ohio. There he garnered most of his lifelong friendships. Most of all, Walt enjoyed spending time with his family while mentoring his children in their athletic and life skills. He was a huge proponent for higher education; as such, he went on to achieve his master's in business administration along with his professional IRWA credentials as an SR/WA, RW-RAC and CA Real Estate Broker. Walt genuinely appreciated all his friendships and relationships that he created throughout his lifetime.
