Yesenia Hernandez Rojano passed away peacefully on June 13, 2023. She was surrounded by her husband, loving family and friends during the last days of her life. Yesenia was born in Escondido California and she lived in North County San Diego for her entire life.
Yesenia is Survived by her husband of 17 years Kenny Rojano, Father: Armando Hernandez Moreno, Mother: Consuelo Nuñez Hernandez, Sister: Laura Consuelo de Hernandez, Brother: Armando Hernandez Jr, 4 Nieces and nephews: Ozarez Hernandez, Axel Hernandez, Aarlo Hernanez, Anaya Hernandez, Fur Babies: Jack Chilo Rojano, Zero Zombie Rojano, Spooky Lou Rojano, Annabelle Rojano
Yesenia discovered a love for working with preschool children when she accepted a part time job as a teacher assistant. Once she discovered her passion, she then dedicated herself to becoming a Preschool teacher by changing her career and enlisting in Child development courses. She went on to earn her child development permit and was in the process of transferring to CSUSM with the goal of earning a Sociology degree with a concentration in Children, Youth and Families. She had a passion for standing up for children and fighting for their rights and the rights of families.
She lived a full life and was happiest when surrounded by family, friends and her fur babies. She will be remembered for her unconditional love and loyalty to her family, love and compassion for all animals and creatures, feeding stray cats and wild birds, dedication as a teacher, love for her preschool students, homemade food, having dinner with family, everything Halloween and especially Halloween decor, Christmas and Christmas decor, visiting her family in Fresno at Christmas and New Years holidays, baking, arts and crafts, joking and pulling pranks, rockabilly and oldies music, classic and custom cars, hair and makeup, 50s and 60s fashion, furniture and collectibles, Nightmare before Christmas and scary movies, her sense of humor and ability to make anybody laugh. Rest in peace Yessi “Memin” you are sorely missed and will never be forgotten.
